Repped Artists:

We are pleased to announce that Frank Quitely will be taking a very limited number of pre show commissions for the Lake Como Comic Art Festival 16/17th May 2025.

There are 2 options available:

TYPE 1. Pencil torso A3 (approx 11.5 x 16.5"). Please see the JEAN GREY example on the website. If requesting this option please include 2 different character requests for the artist to choose from. $1800.(1670E)

TYPE 2. Colour watercolor head & shoulders torso on A3. Please see the SUPERMAN example on the website. We may only be able to take 2 colour requests. $3500 (3250E)

We will also be offering smaller sketch opportunities at the show.

WHEN ORDERING PLEASE SPECIFY WHICH OPTION YOU ARE CHOOSING, WITH THE PRICE AND THE CHARACTER CHOICES. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY MEAN YOUR REQUEST IS NOT ACCEPTED.

1. The list will be open for requests for at least 24 hours from 10am (UK time) 1st April 2024 (or until the number of requests becomes unwieldy, whichever occurs sooner.) Requests prior to 10am will not be accepted

2. Please specify which type of commission you are requesting. If requesting both types, please place separate commission requests.

3. Please provide 2 character choices for the Type 1 A3 pencil option

4. The artist reserves the right to pick & choose from the character requests so it may not be in strict order and gives everyone a greater chance of being picked.

5. We reserve the right to refuse any commission requests if the artist is unfamiliar with the character or on the grounds of good taste.

6. The commission does not include any publication or reproduction rights and is for personal use only.

7. Getting on the list is not a guarantee that your commission will be completed.

8. We hope to confirm to the individual collectors whether the artist has completed your commission by early May ahead of the show.

9. Commissions are only open to attendees at the Lake Como Comic Art Festival. The commissioner must be present at the show for payment and collection. No exceptions please.

10. Please be aware that we cannot take card or online payments for these commissions.
